You can drop off recyclables or household waste (but not large quantities of DIY-type waste or trade waste) in a car free of charge. The following types of car (without trailer) are allowed:
- Cars (saloons, hatch, estate etc.)
- 4 x 4 passenger vehicles (not open backed models)
- People carriers and minibuses with seats in place
- Motor Caravans
- Black Cabs
Note: Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger or Mercedes Vito type vehicles are not deemed to be cars.
Your car must be under 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 metres) in height and not modified to carry goods (e.g. seats removed, side and/or back windows blacked out).
You can also drop off recyclables or household waste by bicycle or on foot at Smugglers Way SW18.
Important: You will not be allowed to bring materials into any of the sites on foot from a vehicle parked outside.
