Can I recycle carpets?
No. We do not accept carpets, mats or rugs for recycling at the
reuse and recycling centres.
However, they will be accepted for disposal.
Instead, if your carpet is in good condition, try selling it! Advertise in local papers, community noticeboards
or through an online exchange network.
You could also
donate it to a charity shop.
